Art Gallery
Project Management
Greene Naftali is an art gallery in New York that showcases contemporary art from emerging and established artists. The gallery recently underwent an expansion that added 6,000 square feet of exhibition space, which involved restoring the existing ceiling and concrete floor while maintaining the original industrial character of the space. Access to the gallery is through a courtyard with two custom-made, monumental glass pivot doors by Juan Alfaro, which presented unique challenges during installation including the use of robotic arms to install the single glass panes. Greene Naftali has exhibited works from internationally renowned artists such as Paul Chan, Jeff Wall, and Philippe Parreno and hosts public talks, book launches, and performances, establishing itself as a cultural hub for contemporary art in New York City.
